The Taillon Gallery is pleased to present the latest sculpture by the sculptor Nicole Taillon.
“Buddha meditating on a rock.”
“Never I would have believed that I would have created a sculpture of Buddha … there are so many.”
… The idea was suggested to me by people whose spiritual presence in their lives is essential.
I started by saying “No way!” …
.. then the idea made its path.
“What I like is that he has an undefined smile …
Is it Joy? Of the Ecstasy? of love? Of Contemplation
I do not know, but what I know is that when I meditate before sculpture, my meditations are always more pleasant and effective.”
Description: Buddha sitting on a rock meditates in lotus position.
Between his two joined hands there is a flaming heart that radiates.
In his back he slipped into his dress his sandals intertwined.
